Tags and Love

Okay. So, here I’m, after a long time, with a post of tags & awards. I hope you don’t find it boring. Let us start without wasting much time.

The Handwriting Tag

I’ve not been nominated formally for this tag. I’m doing this just because I think this one is a bit different. I would like to thank Harsh, for this one.

Here are the rules of this tag:

  1. Write your name.
  2. Write your blog name.
  3. Write your favourite word and its definition.
  4. Write something nice.
  5. Write a few lines of your favourite song right now.
  6. What’re you writing with?
  7. Write a fun fact about yourself.
  8. Write/ draw your favourite emoticon.
  9. Write a silly message.
  10. Write the names/ blog names of people you’re tagging.

But the fun part is that we’ve to write answers in our own handwriting & put the the photo of the same here. Here are my answers:

Let me know if you find my handwriting illegible at some point. I’ll explain.

One Lovely Blog Award

I’ve done this award earlier also. But for the sake of my new friends, who nominated me, I’m doing it again. (To see original post, click here.) In this award, one has to share 7 facts about him/her.

Here are the facts.

  1. I am the kind of person who can spend the whole day in the company of books.
  2. I want to be a Professor of English.
  3. I write diary & I don’t mind people reading it.
  4. I appear to be an introvert person at first sight.
  5. I am quite fascinated by the idea of the Arranged Marriages.
  6. I always need a company to start with something new.
  7. I feel Destiny is more powerful than hard work. But hard work is fruitful in long term.

The Blogger Recognition Award

This is a recent one. Here are the rules (which I’ve altered):

  1. Thank the blogger who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
  2. Give a brief story on how your blog started.
  3. Give a piece of advice to new bloggers.
  4. Select as many other blogs you want to give the award to.

I would like to thank A Learning Poet for nominating me. She has a great blog & I find her posts to be Bold & Inspiring. Do check out her blog. I’m sure you’ll like it.

My Story: It is not a very interesting one. I had the idea of blogging in my mind since long but didn’t know what to write. It is only in the later half of 2016, that a Professor (the best one of the college) of ours advised me & my friends to start blogging. So, I was determined to start blogging. Soon, I found out that this is the best place to share my love for books. So, here I am since December 2016.

A piece of Advice: Well, who am I to give an advice to new bloggers? I myself have struggled to find followers here. I wonder if this happens to all the Book Bloggers. And still, after 7 months, I think I’ve only about 7 genuine followers. Nevertheless, I would say just be patient & don’t follow others, while hoping to get a follow back. Connect with the bloggers of similar interest with the help of tags. And be patient.

More Love

I would now like to thank all the lovely bloggers who nominated me.

  • Harsh (Fab Writings) for The Handwriting Tag. Harsh calls himself an Alien Panda but I would say he’s a Sweet Talking Panda. He is one of the most brilliant writers that we’ve here. Please pay a visit to his blog. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

For the One Lovely Blog Award, there are 3 people who nominated me:

  • Adeyoola (Doing it Natural). Her blog posts are the most informative ones. She posts on how to do things naturally & offers home remedies for several problems. Her blog is definitely worth a visit.
  • Deepika (Full of Life). Deepika is a sweet girl who has an equally sweeter blog. She makes sweet little posts, that cover diverse areas. Her posts will surely bring a smile to your face. Check them out.
  • Ginger Tea Fanatic. The admin is an Indian female writer. Do check out her blog.

My Nominations

There’s no compulsion to do any of these awards/tags. These are just a way to express love & an impetus to keep blogging.

You can do any of these awards or all of them, as per your wish. If you don’t want to make a separate post or want to do just a part of it, you can do that in the comments sections. And if you don’t wanna do any of these, that’s fine too. Just be happy & keep going. Thank you for your time.

  1. Why is your writing soooooooo good!? LOL, I have so many jealousy issues from you Bhai, lolol just kiddin, but yeah, I am still burning in the fire of jealousy, you know what I mean, lol
It’s always fun to know more about you, and that word, ambidextrous, right? It sounds cool. You also make funny faces at mirror, my mom always teases me about that! And about that advice part, I laughed when you told about your genuine readers, I mean, even I too have genuine readers that can be counted on fingers, really. New bloggers try to follow without even reading your post, and expect a follow back. I mean, show some respect, this is not how things work here. But I am glad that I’ve made so many friends here (well, not so many) but jitne bhi hai, bohot hi badiya h! hahaha\
I am a Talking Panda, yeah! I wonder if you wrote Talking on purpose, but anyways, I won’t leave irritating you!!! haha
You deserve all the awards, congrats!! 🙂

You spelt my name wrong though, it is Adeyoola not Ayeboola….. Lastly, thanks so much for the nomination, lots of love.

  4. Your handwriting is neat! There’s a trend with book bloggers: we all seem to be introverted on first sight more than extroverted? Maybe that’s why we all blog? Hmmm.

Anyway, I like your advice on blogs and followers. I’ve been blogging (on and off) since 2013 and it’s really important to follow blogs you have a connection with – otherwise it’s just…stupid, I suppose. But often, I follow someone for a couple of months to see if their blog fits me. If it doesn’t, bye-bye without any hard feelings – it’s ridiculous to keep having mails and feed on blogs you’re not interested in just for the “follow me and I follow you back” thing.

When people start connecting, they will come and they will reply. Patience is a virtue 😉

    • Thank you so much for your time.

I keep checking blogs, in which I’m interested, after a week or so. And then, if I feel like following them then I follow. Otherwise not.

Have a great time ahead. 👍

  5. Oh wow! This is brilliant. Can’t think of how long I’ve wanted to be nominated for this one. And you won my heart Suraj, for remembering me.
You write like a cute little kid from grade 2. The nice edges to your writing and the sleek curves, make it look sweet and sassy both.
I congratulate you on the award. Keep going, buddy. I look forward to your reviews. 🙂
