December TBR

Here we’re in the last month of the year. Some of the people in the Book world, might still be struggling to complete their reading goals. While those who have already completed theirs, must be relaxing while reading & planning the next year goals.

I’m done with my Goodreads Reading Challenge of 45 books. And here I’m with my December TBR. A lot of review copies have piled up and I’ll give whatever little time I’ll have this month to these review copies only. My end Semester exams will begin on 8th and end on 20th of this month.

1. Cove by Cynan Jones

This is a long short story about a man, who is struck by lightning, while he is out at sea and loses his memory thereupon. This will be my first pick of this month. I’m really looking forward to it. Goodreads

2. Sing, Unburied, Sing by Jasmyn Ward

This is the book that has been much talked- about book. Recently, it won the National Book Award. The novel has a very enchanting blurb and I’m planning to read it in my exam days. Goodreads

3. Christmas with the Bomb Girls by Daisy Styles

This is the 3rd book in the Bomb Girls Series. I don’t know what this book exactly has to offer. It is about 3 girls, known as the Bomb Girls, who work in some factory and tackle whatever comes their way, like some superheroes. I’ll be reading it at Christmas. Goodreads

4. Kartikeya: The Destroyer’s Son by Anuja Chandramouli

Now Kartikeya is one such Hindu God about whom we North Indians know very less. So, I’m really looking forward to this book. It’ll probably be the last read of this year for me. Goodreads

Besides these 4 review copies, I’ll also read Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe for my Book Club. That’s all, for now.

Let me know if any of these titles intrigues you? What books are there on your December TBR? Are you done with your challenges? Do share your thoughts. Thanks.
